Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to professional-service engagements with MYFINTAX ADVISORS PVT. LTD. other than paid consultations.

Paid consultations booked through the booking page are governed separately by the Consultation, Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy, which continues to apply in full to those bookings.

MYFINTAX ADVISORS PVT. LTD. · Effective 12 August 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers registrations, licences, filings, compliance, accounting, payroll, intellectual-property and advisory engagements where a professional fee has been paid to MYFINTAX.

For paid consultations, refer to the Consultation, Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy at /consultation-policy. Nothing in this policy reduces the rights available to you under that policy.

2. Professional fees and work already commenced

Professional fees are consideration for professional time, review and work performed on your matter.

If you cancel before any work has commenced, the professional fee is refundable after deducting payment-gateway charges actually incurred, where those are not recoverable by us.

If work has commenced, the fee is refundable proportionately for the work not performed, assessed fairly against the stage reached — for example documentation and review completed, drafts prepared, name or search applications made, or submissions filed.

Once a filing, application or submission has been made to an authority or registry, the professional fee for that stage is not refundable, because the work has been performed.

3. Government, statutory and third-party charges

Government, statutory, registry, stamp-duty and portal charges are collected as pass-through amounts and paid to the relevant authority.

Once such charges have been paid to the authority, or have become non-refundable under the authority's own rules, they cannot be refunded by MYFINTAX. Any refund of those amounts is governed solely by that authority.

The same applies to third-party charges already incurred on your instructions, such as certification-body, valuer, notarial or courier charges.

Amounts collected for Government or third-party charges but not yet spent are refunded in full.

4. Duplicate and failed payments

  • Duplicate payments for the same service are refunded in full on verification.
  • Payments that fail or are not captured are not received by us; the amount is reversed by your bank or the payment gateway under their timelines.
  • Amounts debited without a corresponding confirmed order are refunded once traced with the payment gateway.

5. Client withdrawal or non-cooperation

If you withdraw from an engagement, refunds are assessed under clause 2 by reference to the work already performed.

If a matter cannot proceed because required documents, information, approvals, OTPs or authorisations are not provided within a reasonable period despite reminders, we may close the engagement. Fees for work already performed and charges already incurred are not refundable in that case.

6. Rejection or adverse decision by an authority

Registrations, approvals and applications are decided by the relevant authority. A rejection, objection or query does not by itself entitle you to a refund of professional fees, because the professional work has been performed.

Where a rejection results from an error attributable to MYFINTAX, we will correct and re-submit the matter without further professional fee, and Government charges required for re-submission will be borne by us where they arise directly from that error.

7. Cancellation by MYFINTAX

If we are unable to proceed for reasons not attributable to you — including inability to service the matter, a conflict of interest, or a decision to decline the engagement — fees for work not performed and unspent pass-through amounts are refunded in full.

8. How to request a refund

  • Write to support@myfintax.in from the email address used for the engagement.
  • Include the service name, payment date, amount and payment or order reference.
  • State the reason for the request and attach any relevant communication.

We acknowledge refund requests within 3 working days and communicate our assessment, with the basis of computation, ordinarily within 7 working days of receiving the information needed.

9. Refund processing

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method or bank account used for the payment.

We initiate approved refunds within 7 working days of approval. Credit to your account thereafter depends on your bank, card issuer or payment-gateway timelines, which are typically 5–10 working days and are outside our control.

Payment-gateway charges actually incurred and not recoverable by us, and applicable taxes already remitted where they cannot be adjusted, may be deducted from the refund. Any deduction is disclosed to you.

10. Fair dealing and consumer rights

This policy is intended to be fair to both parties and does not limit any right available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.

If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, write to us with your grounds and the matter will be reviewed by the founder.
